Fernie British Columbia is a top destination for catskiing in the winter. In the summer there is plenty to do for mountain bikers, hikers, and many others. From the scenic runs near Fernie on the Elk River to the Upper Canyon near the Elko Dam, where the water is Class V and higher with falls of more than 40 feet, beginning and advanced rafters can have their fill.
