Individual vs Group Bookings for Catskiing Trips

For the majority of cat skiing destinations, you can get the same benefits and pay the same price whether you book on your own or you choose to go with a group of people you know, so it is only a matter of preference and availability of your friends. If you really do want to go catskiing next winter and for some reason your friends or family cannot come with you, then you should encounter no problem in booking individually with the majority of operators. At least this is the case for cat skiing Canada, if you wish to travel to a European destination, you should be aware that many catskiing operators in France, Italy and Switzerland will require you to have a pre-established group when booking your holiday.

Assuming that you are planning on going catskiing BC Canada, the destination where the most renowned and well-established operators are located, even though you will not be constrained to fill a group by yourself, we still recommend that you convince at least a couple of buddies to join you for this incredible experience. This way you will already know what to expect when you reach the slope, and not be surprised by how fast or slow the other skiers are. Another important advantage of travelling as part of a group to a cat skiing destination is that you can get special ‘treats’, such as having the operator organizing the entire trip for you, from departure to returning home, at no extra costs. This is ideal for busy individuals or those who are inexperienced in arranging the details of the holiday.

Another benefit only available to organized groups is being able to choose to have a winter sports legend as group leader. This does indeed sound exciting, but it does come with an extra charge. Also, it can be very rewarding to be a group leader, as many operators are happy to reward group organizers for taking up some of the tasks they would otherwise have to undertake themselves.

So, if you have not yet convinced your friends that going cat skiing together is the best way to spend their next winter holiday, then you can contact some cat skiing operators and ask them whether they are having any presentations in your city in the near future. These may prove to be very inspirational and show your friends what they could be missing if they choose to do anything else instead of cat skiing.
